A Happy Day for the Final Unity Hip Hop Hangover...

as well as a sad day. As you all probably know Hip Hop as we know it has had it's final hurrah. Yesterday we bid a final farewell to the Thursday Hip Hop with yet another fine sampling of Unity goodness supplied by the ever-talented Design Team.

But we've been assured that something New & Wonderful will happen ~ but we will have to wait just a tad... So to celebrate the coming of the new & going of the old... I have made 2 cards to share with my fellow Unity fans!

First off, a CAS card for the Color Challenge(CC233) & Limited Supply Challenge(LSC234) over at SCS. I really love how this card turned out ~ it turned out to be somewhat of a bear ~ as I can't stand to have anything showing on the insides of my cards ~ I was forced to be creative when attaching the Waxy Flaxy... I used my Scor-pal to create a ridge for the Liquid Glass & glued it to the paper...
Deets: Stamps: Unity ~ July & Aug 09 KOM
Cardstock: PaperTrey Ink ~ Kraft; Stampin Up ~ Real Red
Ink: Stampin Up ~ Chocolate Chip
Misc: CTMH ~ Liquid Glass, Waxy Flaxy; Nestibilities; Scor-pal; sponge dabber

Card #2 was inspired by my oldest daughters love of all things Twilight... we've been listening to the soundtrack quite a bit lately & when I saw the stamp ~ happy day ~ I immediately thought of 'Go All the Way (Into the Twilight)' by Perry Ferrell ~ enjoying this song is not a stretch for me as I have always enjoyed Jane's Addiction... The bird image brings thoughts of the 2nd book ~ New Moon ~ as Bella (the bird) is stretching towards Jacob (the sun)~ bringing happy days back once Edward leaves... I chose the color from PTI based on the name: Lavender Moon... & the PTI Guide Lines paper reminds me of Edward~ guiding Bella away from harm in her mind...
Deets: Stamps: Unity ~ Aug 09 KOM
Cardstock: PTI ~ Lavender Moon, Plum Pudding, Guide Lines; GP
Ink: PTI ~ Plum Pudding
Misc: CTMH ~ Liquid Glass; PTI ribbon; CB Swiss Dots; Copics; Zig pen

Thank You so much for dropping by & have fun checking out all the rest of the HHH talent... I know I will!!!
