Happy Friends with Flair Friday! A celebration of the friends of Unity Stamp Co!I'm so glad you have hopped over to see what I've been upto. Weel, let's just say this is the card that almost did not happen... you see I am horribly unorganized & it took forever to find the stamps that I envisioned for this card which is going to go to the WishRAK Labor Day Cards for the Troops Challenge (0915) ~ Thanksgiving/Fall... I hope that someone will feel special when they receive this card from their family member so far away this fall! I had a totally different base for the card ~ but it was too light ~ so out came the Kraft (the image was stamped in grey to match the original card oh well). I added a little green to match the green ribbon ~ but my little assistant's comment was Yuck! So, I brought out the brown. Oh~ and yeah, I dropped the glue lid on the image ~ but I refused to throw it away ~ so I sanded the whole thing instead ~ now it has a soft suede feel. Then, I thought the acorns needed some glossing over so I used my liquid glass on them... any squiral would love 'em ~ right?
